About Me

My Dance journey started when I was just 7 years old. I was at my cousin's high school graduation, and I was the first one on the dance floor and the last one off. The picture above was taken just after I told my parents, "I don't care that my feet hurt, I just want to dance." Lucky for me, the restaurant was across the parking lot from Sway Ballroom. This is where I found my love of dance. With their foundational teachings, I was able to get accepted into the renowned, Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Ballroom Dance Conservatory. While at OCSA, I had the privilege of being on several National Division I and II Formation Teams in Latin and Smooth styles. I received training from several accomplished dancers like Erik Cyr and Robert Porch. Outside of the classroom, I continued to train at the acclaimed Dance Daly Ballroom, owned by Jason and Sveta Daly. I got to perform at many different venues during my six years at OCSA like on the sand at a beach, retirement homes, community centers and even to a sold-out crowd at the Segerstrom Center of the Preforming Arts. Some of the highlights of my senior year include: OC Register Dance Artist of the Year Nominee, performed and interviewed for KTLA School Spirit and winning Dancing with the OCSA Stars with my teacher, Terri Treas. I have been a youth Latin and Smooth finalist at many competitions within Southern California. Notably, I have won championships and pre-championships at Claremont Showdown and Cal Open.Since graduating, I am attending Irvine Valley College in pursuit of a transfer to CSU Long Beach where I will ultimately earn a business degree. I am currently working with students at UC Irvine to start their collegiate ballroom program. I am continuing my training in Latin dances with Katya Kryrylenko and Andrii Voloshko, Rhythm and Smooth with Bailey Carrillo. Recently I have won Adult Amateur Championships in Rhythm at Royal Ball and San Diego Beach Bash. I am a substitute for my alma mater and teach independently out of several dance studios in Orange County. Let's connect and get you started on your dance journey.
